Step By Step Instructions


Draw the top part of a circle, like an upside down U.

Next, draw ears and three bumps for hair.

Below the circle draw an oval shape for the cheeks and chin.
Draw smaller loops inside the ears.
Draw a curved “M” shape that looks like the top of a heart.
Draw a line inside the cheeks and chin.
Draw to circles for eyes.
Draw a small oval nose and the top of the smile. Add a line from the nose to the smile.
Draw a mouth and tongue.
Draw three circles in each eye.
Color in the eyes, nose and mouth. Be careful not to color in the circles.
Add a speech bubble. What will your monkey say?
Draw a curve below the chin for the top of an arm.
Draw five bumps for a hand.
Add another line to finish the arm.
Draw another arm. Stop after one bump for the thumb.
Draw the top part of a rocket.
Draw the bottom of the rocket.
Draw the end of the rocket.
Draw fins and a rocket engine.
Draw a line for the top of the rocket. Add a window made of two circles with dots.
Draw the monkey’s tummy. Add another line for the bottom of the arm.
Draw the monkey’s back and tail.


Let’s add some decorations!

Let’s draw Saturn. Start with a hat shape: half a circle on top with an oval under it.
Add half a circle under the hat shape.
Add a curved line to make a ring around the planet.
Draw some little circles and star shapes.
Add smiley faces to the stars and Saturn!
Draw a sun with a smiley face.
Draw a circle to add planet Earth.
Add a squiggly line on top.
Add another squiggly line on the bottom.
Add a squiggly line on the side.
Draw a big circle around monkey’s head for a space helmet.
Add lines on the monkey’s arms. Draw circles and squares on the space suit.
Draw a square shaped reflection on the monkey’s helmet.
Add another window to the rocket made of two circles with dots.
The monkey brought a pet fish! Draw a small straight line in the window.
Draw the fish’s back and tail.
Draw the fish’s tummy and eyes.
Give the fish fins on the top and bottom, and a gill.
Now it’s time to color!
